Evie

BIRTHDAY:   May 26, 2010

Evie was born on May 26, 2010. She was abandoned at the gate of the local orphanage on June 3, 2010. She was very tiny, and when doctors evaluated her they found she had a heart disease. They asked us to help arrange her surgery, so she arrived in Beijing on September 13, 2010. When she arrived she was very small and weak. Now, after a successful surgery, Evie has grown quickly. She is still delayed because she was unable to meet developmental milestones before her surgery, but we can see that she will quickly catch up. Evie is very quiet and observant. She likes to play with toys and is a mild little girl. Her heath has improved greatly from the day she arrived, and we can’t wait to see the other gains that she will make in the future.
