Jesse was born June, 2007. Three days later he was found abandoned and was taken to the local orphanage, where he was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease. (VSD and PDA) Since the local hospitals were unable to perform his surgery he was brought to Beijing where he had surgery on December 18, 2007. He continued to have problems so on January 18, 2008 he had another surgery to have a pacemaker installed. Since he could not return to his home province because of the high altitude he was brought to New Day where he will be able to receive the care he needs till he is adopted. We are glad to be a part of this quiet but happy little boy’s life.
