Madeline was born on December 21, 2007 and abandoned the same day in the emergency room at the local hospital. She was brought to the local orphanage and diagnosed with a congenital heart disease, a VSD which ultimately closed on its own without surgery. She came to the foster home on March 28, 2008 to receive medical care for her heart problem, but since the doctors determined it did not need treatment after she arrived, she hasn’t had to have any surgeries or medical interventions. She is an adorable, healthy little girl who loves to smile and is on-target developmentally for her age.
