ARRIVAL:   Feb 27, 2017
DEPARTURE:   Mar 31, 2017

Maya’s orphanage called New Day South asking for help with a newly abandoned baby girl, only 5 days old. Maya was born with a GI issue, heart defect and Down Syndrome. Arrangements were quickly made and Maya was admitted to best children’s hospital in the region on that same day. A successful surgery was performed the next day, and Maya was then sent to NICU for recovery and further evaluation. Plans are being made now for additional surgery in the near future. We believe good things are in store for this gentle little girl, and we look forward to watching her grow and blossom.

NDV: Lê Phúc An is a 10 month old baby boy. He has a 4-year-old brother. His family currently lives with his grandparents. His mother takes care of the children and his grandparents, while his father works as a laborer to support the family.
