The beginning of 2018 we faced some heart-rending changes in our New Day Foster Home South (NDFH South) location. Changes in the laws in Guangdong province as well as the nation at large have resulted in the removal of all of the children previously in our care. Therefore, June 2018 we officially closed the New Day Foster Home South outreach in Guangdong province.
In the midst of all of the feelings in our hearts, the main emotion that surfaced to the top was gratitude – gratitude for the privilege of being able to make a difference in the lives of so many very special children over the eight years ND South was in operation. Hardly a week goes by that we don’t hear a report or see a new photo of a former New Day South child that is now healthy, happy and enjoying the blessing of family. And of course, gratitude for our supporters and friends that made all of this possible – thank you!
