Irene was born in March 2019. She was born with heart disease and an eye deformity. She received heart surgery when she was two month old. She had her left eye removed during surgery in July of 2020. She is a happy girl and gives little indication she had two surgeries at such a young age.
Irene came to our project on August 31, 2020. She likes to crawl everywhere and is starting to try to walk by herself. She likes toys that have lights and sounds. She loves to smile, and is able to imitate things quickly and has a good appetite. She has begun to say more words. We can’t wait to see how she will blossom and grow.
