Jia Tian

Jiatian recently learned to play basketball and loves chasing the ball. She currently lives in the “Future Star House” in our hospital and is studying in special education classes at regional workshops. Jiatian is sweet and loves music with a clear rhythm. Music makes her excited. As children sing and dance together, Jiatian joins by clapping and shaking her head and body. She loves to follow the rhythm of music. Though her gross motor skills require slow movement, her fine motor skills are good. She enjoys stringing beads and playing origami games. Jiatian is able to meet her own basic physical needs (eating, drinking), she does need help bathing and tying her shoes. She loves to be outside, especially to ride a pedal tricycle around or for exercise. Jiatian most likely understands everyday language, but has difficultly learning. She is passionate about people, loves to laugh, is polite and can express her everyday needs in words with relatively clear enunciation. When Jiatian loves a person her enthusiasm is clearly and dramatically displayed.
