Samara

ARRIVAL:   Aug 26, 2010
DEPARTURE:   Sept 1, 2011

Samara was diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome. She entered the orphanage system shortly after she was born, and she has no other medical problems. Her orphanage placed her in our foster program on August 26, 2010. When she first arrived in her new foster family, she grabbed her mother’s clothes tightly with her tiny little hands and stopped crying. She carefully watches her foster mom and constantly follows her voice and actions with her eyes. Right now, Samara is malnourished. But we know with lots of TLC, she’ll begin to make a lot of progress!
