Erik and Mary with their children
Erik and Mary Gomez first traveled to China in 2010 after a desire to help orphan children in that country had grown in their heart. During that visit they came to New Day Beijing and fell in love with the mission and work New Day was doing. During the following years Erik lead several short term trips with the hope to support the foster home and the community. Erik and his family decided to move to Beijing in 2015 where they served as New Day Community Center Coordinators supporting programs to reach out to the community and supporting visitors. Not only did they move to China to serve New Day, but they were also blessed by being able to adopt a little girl from Hohhot province.
Since 2017 Erik started supporting the effort being developed in Vietnam and as of January 2018 Erik and Mary made the decision to move their family to Ho Chi Minh City to support this wonderful program.
