It’s official! After working through a local partner for the last two years, we received our NGO license from the Vietnamese government in April. This is a big step for our program in Vietnam and gives us a strong foundation to build on into the future.

Our delegation made the trip together to Hanoi to receive the license. Neal, the President of Legacy Charities USA (our 501C3 organization in the states), made the trip from Texas bringing souvenirs from the Lone Star state 🤠.

Now that we have our country license, we have begun the process of signing agreements with each of the provincial governments in which we are helping children. We just signed our first agreement this month, giving us the privilege of continuing to provide heart surgeries to children from poor families in that province.
