Caiyun was born in February 2005. Her mother left the family when she was little, and she has no remembrance of her. Her dad passed away when she was 11 years old.
After that she went to live with her aunt who is now over 70 years old.
Her aunt is a widow with a son who suffered brain damage which left him unable to work and support the family. The family lives on someone’s property as gate guards where part of their income comes from. They also get some subsidies from the government.
Caiyun is attending a vocational training school where she is studying baking. She is enjoying learning to bake. Caiyun is a sweet girl and there is always a smile on her face. Looking at her face you would never know how tough her life has been. She was thankful for all who have helped her family through difficult times. She says she wants to be helpful and have a loving heart towards others.
