Ado Chi was born in June 2018. He was diagnosed with heart disease when he was 6 months old, but had not undergone any surgical intervention or specialized treatment. His parents first took him to HCMC for an evaluation in 2020. He often feels tired, has difficulty breathing, and struggles participating in school activities. His father works in agriculture with an income that is just enough to cover the family’s expenses. His mother stays home to take care of Ado and his younger sister. Since Ado was accepted by our medical project, he has had two heart surgeries. He still requires one more surgery. We are hopeful for his future.
