Chinese New Year is within sight. The children were excited to experience the traditional fun activities as they wait for Spring Festival. Laba (Dec 8th lunar year) garlic is one of the traditional foods, and the children got to help with peeling the garlic and making their own laba garlic. The foster parents made a traditional desert for the kids. When the children sat around the table to share the sweet snack there were many smiling faces.
