A Trip to the Zoo

A Trip to the Zoo

We recently organized a special field trip to the zoo for some of the children in our Eleos Project. It was a holiday, and the kids woke up early, excited to gather and wait for the bus that would take them on the journey—more than an hour away.

Their adventure began with a safari bus ride through the wild animal area. As the bus moved slowly along, the children pressed close to the windows, eyes wide with wonder, not wanting to miss a single moment. They spotted tigers, lions, bears, and wolves—each sight bringing gasps of excitement and amazement.

After the safari, the kids got off the bus and continued exploring on foot. They walked past enclosures filled with all kinds of animals—huge elephants, gentle pandas, playful monkeys just behind the glass, and adorable meerkats standing upright as if on duty. The children were full of energy, chatting and pointing, completely absorbed in everything they saw.

After a long and happy walk, each child enjoyed a hamburger for lunch. They ate with great appetite, still talking excitedly about their favorite animals. The joy stayed with them all the way home, as the day slowly came to an end.
