At the end of this summer break, with the great help of a wonderful volunteer team, the children from the Savannah Project and Pathfinder Project enjoyed an unforgettable summer camp in Beijing. Many exciting activities were arranged for them, and most of them were brand-new experiences for the kids.
It was their first time playing CS games in the woods, their first cooking picnic, their first close encounter with robots at a robot company, their first visit to the Great Wall, and their first trip to the train museum. Every new experience brought excitement, curiosity, and many happy memories.
Being little soldiers was so much fun! Dressed in their gear and playing CS games in the woods, the kids enjoyed the excitement of teamwork and adventure.
The cooking picnic quickly became one of their favorite activities. The children actively helped prepare the food, and everyone enjoyed the delicious meal they made together.
It was also an amazing experience to get so close to robots—even giving a robot a big hug! The children were full of curiosity and excitement as they discovered this new world of technology.
With the care and support of the volunteers, Theodore and Madeline were able to reach the destination on the Great Wall, making this journey even more special.
At the train museum, the children were amazed to see so many different trains and learn about their stories.
This summer camp was filled with first experiences, challenges, laughter, and joy. Thanks to the wonderful volunteers, the children created memories that they will treasure for a long time.
