Aaron was born on November 25, 2006 and was abandoned at the gate of the local orphanage on March 25, 2007. The policeman turned him over to the care of the local orphanage after an unsuccessful search for his parents. At the time he was abandoned, he had a bloated stomach and was running a fever. He was immediately taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with mega-colon. The local hospital did not have the skill to perform the needed surgery, so the orphanage called us and asked if we could help. On April 7, 2007 Aaron was brought to Beijing and was taken right to the hospital. He had a successful surgery on April 26, 2007. We are thankful that we were given the opportunity to save this precious little boy’s life.
