Adahlyn was born on August 22, 2005. She was abandoned at the gate of the local orphanage on September 29, 2005 and joined the New Day family on August 25, 2006. She had a VSD of 14.5mm and a radial clubbed right hand. Her heart surgery was completed on October 31, 2006, and she has made much progress since that time. When she first arrived at one year old, she was malnourished and unable to sit on her own. But, to look at her today, you’d never know it! She is a smart and clever little girl, who loves to run and play. Her therapy for her hand has ensured that she has a wide range of motion and can do most tasks easily. She has made much progress, and we know her future is bright!
