Asa was found at the front gate of the orphanage on the morning of August 26, just a few days after his birth. He was left in a paper box and wrapped in a blue and white towel. Asa was diagnosed with a GI defect and was brought to New Day South later in the afternoon of that same day. He was immediately taken to the hospital for emergency surgery that evening. Asa’s surgery was a success and he has recovered well. He will need another surgery in the future. Asa is growing into a handsome little man and we’re all smitten.
