Asher was born in October 2016 and has a brain underdevelopment condition. (He was previously supported by our Formula Program from November 2016 to August 2017.)
Asher is a quiet boy who loves being held in his mom’s arms—when she gives him a firm hug, a happy smile spreads across his face. Though he still has a long way to go in terms of self-care and expressing his needs, Asher is making progress through his specially arranged daily special education, life skills, and thematic classes. He loves music and will gently sway his body to the rhythm, thoroughly enjoying himself.
We believe that through the professional care and rehabilitation training provided by our nurture program, this boy with the hearty laugh will embrace an even brighter future.
Asher was named by Jace who was adopted from New Day in 2011 and his mom.
It means happy and blessed
And the verse we would include is
Psalm 144:15 Happy are the people whose God is the LORD!
