Claire was born on April 2, 2004 and placed into a foster family by her local orphanage on September 15, 2004. Claire was born with ENT issues. After two surgeries at the local hospital, the local doctors said they couldn’t do anything else for her and recommended surgical treatment in Beijing. Knowing her case was very difficult, her orphanage contacted us for help, and we brought her from the local hospital to the foster home on May 7, 2009. Though her medical condition is very serious, Claire eats well and is a tall girl who can dress herself and walk by herself. She loves preschool and rushes to class every morning!
