Corrie was born May 14, 2010 and abandoned four days later at the nearby local service station. When the police could not locate her birth parents, she was brought to the orphanage. According to Corrie’s orphanage, she has a light nervous system disorder, but is an active and lovely little girl. Corrie loves to smile and understands what her nanny says to her, although her language is delayed. Therapy has helped Corrie a lot and she is now able to stand and walk by herself, go up stairs and down stairs with a little help and say, “mama.” Corrie is beginning to make sounds to communicate. She arrived at New Day Foster Home January 1, 2013 and we look forward to seeing the transformation that love and extra therapy make in her life.
