Dong

Dong is 16 years old this year and is in the sixth grade of primary school. His mother has mental problems and lives at a facility. His father is a farmer and raises a few sheep. He has an older sister who is studying nursing at a university in Hohhot, and he has another sister who is in the sixth grade at the age of 18, for some unknown reason, they both went to school late. The family’s income mainly relies on a state subsidy allowance of about $87 (600 yuan) per month. We found that Dong is a very polite, sensible, and grateful child when we met him.
