Jiaxi was born in January 2013. She is a smart and healthy girl. She is attending grade 2 at her local school.
Her dad had a stroke and had to have surgery. He never expected his wife to take their family’s savings and leave them after his surgery a couple of years ago. Since then, their family’s support only comes from her dad’s limited ability to work. He works as he can delivering take-out. And then in May 2021 he was diagnosed with a serious bacterial infection and is now on treatment.
Jiaxi is good at her lessons in school. Her hobby is drawing. When we first visited her in January 2022, we brought some new clothes for her and her dad. They were so happy and thankful. We are hoping with our support for her schooling and living subsidy this will make a difference in their lives.
