Joel was born on August 21, 2004. He was abandoned on the side of a local street on October 23, 2004. He was taken to the orphanage after his parents weren’t located. He has a neurological defect, and because of this he could not stand well, nor could he walk. However, he’s a bright and happy little boy who speaks easily with all of his friends. He’s an obedient little boy, and he enjoys interacting with new friends. Joel can get around quickly and well by crawling, and he has been challenged with special braces and a walker to actually walk on his own. Joel’s determination amazes us and we know that there is a lot in store for this boy. He tries hard to learn a lot in school. We’re thankful he’s come to our foster home so that he’ll get more opportunities to reach his full potential.
