Born in April 2015, Le Le is a soft-spoken little girl currently navigating her way through second grade. Her family unit comprises four individuals: her brother, who is pursuing higher education away from home, her mother, who grapples with a severe intellectual disability and requires almost constant assistance with daily tasks, and her father.
Despite owning five acres of land, it is her father who bears the weight of all responsibilities, from tending to the land to preparing meals, a task that proves to be an arduous one for him. The household often appears disheveled and chaotic, showcasing the struggles her father faces in keeping it orderly. With a meager monthly welfare benefit of $300 as their main source of sustenance, this family is confronted with significant challenges. It is our fervent hope that our intervention can provide them with a glimmer of hope amidst their hardships.
