Lesley entered the world in November 2019 and faces the challenges of cerebral palsy. When she first joined the program, she was in a fragile state, her body completely limp and unresponsive. She struggled to move, couldn’t lift her head, and had very little appetite for milk. Through dedicated rehabilitation, Lesley has made remarkable strides in strengthening her back and gaining better control of her head. Previously her face showed no expression, she now beams with joy while interacting with her nanny and bursts into laughter during playtime. One of her favorite activities is jumping on the trampoline, where her delight is evident in her radiant smile. To further aid her development, her teacher has created a variety of engaging games designed to enhance her social and interactive skills. Thanks to her ongoing rehabilitation, Lesley can now utilize a standing frame, opening up new perspectives for her. A generous family has also provided her with a high-quality wheelchair, enabling her to gradually venture outside and experience the beauty of the world beyond her room.
