On December 18, 2004, a beautiful young lady, named Lily, was born. A little bit over a month later, she was found abandoned at the hospital. She was then taken to a nearby orphanage. While she was there, she was diagnosed with open foramen ovale and pulmonary valve stenosis, both of which are heart conditions. After living in the orphanage for eight months, she was able to undergo surgery on September 27, 2005 to correct her heart problem. On October 10, 2005, after she was released from the hospital, she was able to join the New Day Foster Home family. Lily is an active young lady. She enjoys using her hands to play with the many colorful toys that are around her. She is very alert and aware of what is going on around her. She is able to recognize her name and is working on her language speaking abilities. Currently, she has learned how to say, “daddy” and “mommy”. Lily is adjusting well to her new surroundings. She is a charming young lady and we look forward to getting to know more about her in the coming months.
