Matthias was born September 10, 2006. He was abandoned at the Civil Affairs Office and after a check-up was taken to the local orphanage. Little Matthias is a healthy little boy, except for a severe cleft lip and palate. He had surgery for his cleft lip in March of 2007 and surgery to close his palate in September of 2007. He is a happy and active little boy, and he loves to interact with everyone. We look forward to the day he goes home with his forever family!
