Max

Max was born April 16, 2013 and was abandoned four months later at the door of the local orphanage. When his parents could not be found he was admitted into the orphanage and later, at the hospital, was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. His heart defect is not complex but his condition is poor and he was often getting fevers and pneumonia while at the orphanage. The orphanage doctors, concerned for Max, and suspecting other problems, asked for our help. Max arrived into our care September 18, 2013. Although he is weak, he is very alert and charming. Max is a very good baby, quiet and watchful. When we catch his eye or interact with him Max gifts us with the most beautiful smiles. We look forward to seeing the difference that surgery makes in his life and can’t wait to see him restored to health!
