Meilin Eliana was born on June 9, 2008. Exactly one year later she was abandoned at the gate of the local orphanage. She was born with heart disease and a GI defect and has been diagnosed with William’s syndrom. She arrived at NDFH on November 5, 2009 and was able to get the surgeries she needed. She’s observant and likes to imitate what she sees adults doing. At four years old, she is a lively, bubbly little girl. She runs and plays and loves to be with others. Nobody is a stranger to Meilin Eliana. She is never shy to approach a visitor and offer them a friendly hug. Meilin Eliana is a special learner, but has made progress since she has been here. She is able to communicate and say simple things and is an eager preschool student. Meilin Eliana has been in a foster family for the past few years and is thriving in the care of her foster parents. We look forward to watching her continue to blossom and grow up into a little lady.
