Nolan

Nolan was born in April 2023 with a congenital cleft lip and palate. He is a gentle-eyed, sturdy little boy.
In 2024, we brought Nolan to Beijing for corrective surgery and provided postoperative care in strict accordance with medical instructions. With the devoted care of his nannies, Nolan made a remarkably swift recovery. He learned to sit, crawl, walk, run, play with balls, clap, play games, wave goodbye, and more. We also incorporated various activities to encourage his speech—singing nursery rhymes and learning sign language at the preschool, and reading picture books and blowing bubbles before bed. He is beginning to discover the joy of speaking and building confidence of talking to people.
Today, Nolan lives in our big family of the Foster Home, growing sunnier and more outgoing with each day. We are confident that he has a bright future ahead.
