Si Qi

Born in 2015, Si Qi’s parents are both deaf and mute, and her mother also has low vision. Currently, her mother is receiving medical treatment in another province, accompanied by her father, leaving Si Qi and her 14-year-old sister Xiao hui in the care of their grandmother. Despite growing up in a challenging environment, the sisters are healthy, intelligent, and charming. Their family rents a house near Si Qi’s kindergarten, and their grandmother even found a job there. The family’s main source of income is a state subsidy of $260month for unsupported children. Despite their hardships, Si Qi and her sister remain motivated and determined.
