Sophie was born on August 24, 2005 and abandoned on September 15, 2005. Sophie was born without the fibula in her right leg, an abnormal curvature of the right shinbone, and strephenopodia of the right foot. She came to the foster home on September 29, 2007, and we were able to provide Sophie with a brace to help her walk. When Sophie first arrived, she was a quiet little girl who often looked quite sad. Now she has opened up and is an outgoing child with a fun-loving and creative spirit. Caring for her while she waits for her adoptive family has been such a blessing!
