This young man, Tan Phat, was diagnosed with leukemia last fall. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment which is very expensive here in Vietnam. (The 2nd photo was taken before chemo.) His parents are doing all they can to help with the medical expense, including trying to sell their small house.
New Day, along with several other charitable organizations in Vietnam, has been asked to help shoulder the family’s financial burden. We have made a modest initial commitment but hope to do more.
