Truc Ngan, only 8 months old, was born with heart disease. On a routine checkup a few days ago the doctors saw that she needed surgery right away, and we were asked to help.
Due to the favorable insurance situation at this hospital, the hospital cost will only be around $1,000 USD, but even this is beyond the reach of her family. (Truc Ngan’s father works in the fishing industry in the Mekong River delta, and her mother works in a factory hours away from their home.) We are all too happy to come alongside this young family and support Truc Ngan’s surgery and post-op medical care.
