Vincent was born on February 20, 2007. He was abandoned at the local hospital on March 1, 2007. When police were unable to locate his parents, they took him to the local orphanage. He was born with anal atresia, tethered cord syndrome, and vesical fistula. He also has a deformity of both his thumbs. He had three surgeries to correct the anal atresia, tethered cord syndrome, and vesical fistula. Vincent can communicate very well. He speaks clearly and thoughtfully. He’s a very smart little boy, and he seems on track developmentally and emotionally. He understands many things. We’re thankful we have the opportunity to take care of him and get to know him; we know his future is bright!
