Xiao Lin is 12 years old this year and is in the sixth grade of elementary school. His mother left home when he was young, and his father is an alcoholic and neglects his family. Xiao Lin is mainly cared for by his grandparents who are in their 70s. His unmarried uncle lives with them, and he makes a living by farming. Their great-grandparents who are over 90’s also live with them. The source of income for this family of 6 people depends on his grandparents who are elderly people who has no additional skills but farming.
