Xing Qian

Sweet treats, playing outside and cars are among Xingqian “Qianqian” Chen’s favorite things. Currently living in a foster home, he is taking classes at the special educational handmade factory. Qianqian gets along well with the people around him. He is positive and always smiles at others. When playing with other kids, he is quick to share, but also likes playing alone with toy cars or riding a small bike. Complicated sports using both hands are difficult for Quinqian due to limited use of his left hand. However, he is able to participate in most other sports and uses his right hand to accomplish the needs of daily life. Qianqian is able to meet his own basic needs. He can wash his face, brush his teeth, go to the restroom and eat by himself. He does need assistance taking a shower and washing his clothes. He is able to pronounce one syllable words and understand most common concepts. Learning new things is challenging for Qianqian, so reviewing and studying new concepts is essential.
