Xuan Mai is a 7 year old girl born with heart disease. Although the family has known of her heart problem for years now, they have not been able to afford medical care (her father is a fisherman and her mother takes care of Xuan Mai and their other children.) Xuan Mai recently had to drop out of 1st grade because of her worsening health.
After learning of Xuan Mai’s condition, we were glad to accept her into our program. We will sponsor her hospitalization and surgery cost, and support the family through the process. We’ll be posting updates along the way.
