Yan

Yan is a 9-year-old girl, born with a severe deformity in both of her hands. She was allowed to go to school, but she could hardly write or help herself doing simple things like holding utensils to feed herself. She has a frail 6-year-old brother who was also suspected of multiple diseases such as developmental delay and pica (He can’t stop eating hair) and due to hyperactivity, he moves too much and can’t stay seated in a chair, so he is not allowed to go to school. Yan and her brother live with their grandparents. Their mother has mental problems, grandfather has heart disease, and grandmother is getting old. Their father is the only one who is working, and his salary can barely provide for the needs of his family. We know this family has great needs and we hope to find financial and medical support for them.
