On a warm, spring day in April, a precious infant, named Ruth, was welcomed into the world. However, 10 days later, on April 27, her world was turned upside down when she was abandoned at a local bus station. Thankfully, she was found and taken to the nearby police station. There, the police searched for her parents. They weren’t able to locate her parents, so she was then taken to a nearby orphanage. While she was there, she was diagnosed with a heart condition known as VSD. On September 27, 2005, Ruth was able to undergo surgery to correct her heart condition. When she was released from the hospital on October 10, 2005, she was welcomed into the New Day Foster Home family. Currently, she is working on her eye/hand coordination. We have noticed that she is currently able to transfer the toys that she is playing with from one hand to the other. Ruth is a beautiful young lady. She is adjusting well to her new surroundings.
