It was the first snowfall of winter. Even though it was quite cold in northern China, the kids couldn’t wait to rush outside and play in the beautiful white world. They loved touching the soft snow and making their own snowmen, laughing as they tried their best to add hats, eyes, and noses. Simple winter fun like this never gets boring. The smiles, the laughter, and the joy of spending time together made it a truly special moment.

Some of the kids stayed inside, but that didn’t stop them from enjoying the snow. A basin filled with snow was brought in so everyone could feel and play with it. Amelia and Cindy were so sweet as they held the basin before Ruth and let her play first. The smiles on their faces melted our hearts—what a precious moment!
