Lydia began working for New Day North in November 2015. Before working here, she worked as a nurse for the Inner Mongolia Center for Disease Control and Prevention, giving shots and filling out reports. Lydia started working for New Day North because she wanted to help the children. She is very happy to see the children making improvements, but she is even happier when she sees children being adopted and having a family of their own. Lydia hopes to continue helping the orphanage make improvements and would like to see New Day North projects expand throughout the entire province of Inner Mongolia in order to help more children. Lydia also hopes to help parents of special needs children have more resources, knowledge, and support in caring for their children.
