Our Work

Beijing Foster Home

Our twenty-five bed facility outside of Beijing is a haven for special needs orphans from around China. We bring them here not only for surgery and medical care, but for emotional and spiritual restoration as well.

We believe love makes a difference, and we see the result in children’s faces. Empty eyes begin to sparkle as children’s lives are transformed through our unique programs:

Busy Minds – With class in Chinese three days a week and English two days a week, our in-house preschool keeps our children busy with hands-on activities and occasional field trips.

Differently-abled – Our full-time physical therapists provides a full range of therapies uniquely tailored to each child’s different abilities.

Medical Miracles – Working in partnership with some of the best hospitals in China, our experienced in-house medical team treats a variety of complex needs.

Intimate Care – With one nanny for every three children, our excellent staff-to-child ratio ensures our children receive plenty of one-on-one attention.

No institution is a substitute for a mom and dad of one’s own. While a forever family is every child’s dream, we believe that a strong and caring foster family is an ideal place for a child to grow up while they wait for adoption. Our foster family program in Beijing gives more children the opportunity to experience the love of a family.

Well-trained and supervised by our staff, our foster families help our children reach their full potentials. We’ve watched foster moms teach children to talk who we were told would never speak! Most of our dedicated foster parents are older, retired couples who have the time and patience to provide the one-on-one attention our children need to thrive.
