October 1st is China’s national day and our kids were able to take part in a celebration with their orphanage. The kids and nannies had fun playing game and taking part in competitions. It was a great party and a great experience for everyone!

We are so thankful that a team of physical therapists recently came to visit our projects. They not only helped the kids but they were able to teach the nannies so that the children can receive even better care.

The weather has been perfect lately and the kids have had so much fun playing outside. Even when they have to stay inside there is still so much fun to be had! We love seeing each of our kids play and hearing their laughter makes it all worth it.

After the children’s surgery, they make trips back to the hospital for up to 6 or more post-op checkups over the following year or so. These are most often “happy visits” when the family members hear good reports from the doctors about their children’s recovery and health.
